Abstract

299,877. Aktiebolaget Separator. Nov. 3, 1927, [Convention date]. Driving; balancing. - A protective member 6 surrounds a ball bearing 2 the inner ring 3 of which is secured to the spindle 1 of a centrifugal separator and the outer ring 8 of which is secured within the member 6. The latter is mounted resiliently, such as by an elastic element 11 within the separator frame 12, and has a ring portion 13 covering the end 15 of the frame 12 and a neck portion 14 closely surrounding the spindle 1. The neck portion 14 is covered by a sleeve 16 on the spindle 1.
