Divided on 290,321, Cooling-towers.-To alter the relative distribution of the water to the various nozzles p fitted in the troughs, loose nozzles o are inserted in the nozzles p. The nozzles may be conical, as shown, or cylindrical or prismatic nozzles may be used, the loose ones having collars or projections at desired heights to engage the edges of the relatively fixed ones. The nozzles may be used in the cooling- towers described in Specification 290,321.
