Abstract

A valve (1) controls the pressure of fuel fed to the fuel injectors of an internal combustion engine with greater functional accuracy by means of an adjustable-tension spring (13) fixed within a third chamber (11) of the valve body (2), which urges a valve shutter (10) to close a passage (9) by which a second chamber (5) communicates with a discharge outlet (12) through the third chamber (11) when increased fuel pressure in the second chamber (5) causes movement of a diaphragm (3) and opening of the passage (9). <IMAGE>
