Abstract
1510895 Valves PEGLERS Ltd 8 June 1976 [31 July 1975] 32132/75 Heading F2V An anti-siphonage valve assembly comprises a non-return ball valve 18 which closes an outlet from a chamber 14, together with an airbreak valve constituted by a resilient washer 32 housed within the chamber 14 and serving to close a plurality of air holes 42, the ball valve seat being formed in a tubular element 22 which is screwed into the outlet and clamps the washer 32 against the valve body. The ball valve element 18 is guided in the outlet by a moulded element 24 having vanes which extend longitudinally along the outlet. A shroud 44 screwed on to the valve body, covers the air holes 42.
