Abstract

1376126 Street posts BRITISH STEEL CORP 5 Jan 1972 [6 Jan 1971] 644/71 Headings E1B and E2B A hollow section metal street post has a continuous undercut keyway 11 adapted to receive a bracket 12 which is clamped in position by a screw bolt 17 which passes through a nut 16 welded to one limb of the bracket and bears on the other limb of the bracket. A "No-Parking" sign or a litter bin or bus stop sign or a light may be secured to the bracket by rivets 19. The bracket can easily be adjusted to any position longitudinally of the post. Modified brackets may support the fitting at a different angle thereto.
