Abstract
1369430 Electrostatic precipitators LODGECOTTRELL Ltd 3 Dec 1971 [8 Dec 1970] 58209/70 Heading B2J Electro-precipitation apparatus comprises a plurality of parallel discharge electrodes 14 and a plurality of collector electrodes 4 which may be associated with rapping gear, each collector electrode being provided with a plurality of elongated corona concentration regions in the form of spaced ribs 20 which extend generally at right angles to the discharge electrodes. The arrangement is such that, in operation, corona discharge takes place between the discharge electrodes and the ribs 20, so that the usual discharge points on the discharge electrodes, may be eliminated.
