Abstract
1304237 Ferrite cores PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 2 Sept 1970 42043/70 Heading H1H Magnetic ferrite cores have the composition: The cores may be made by sintering at 1150- 1400‹ C., e.g. for 30-60 minutes, a compressed, optionally pre-fired mixture of oxides and/or oxide-forming compounds. The partial pressure of oxygen during sintering and cooling down to 1000‹ C., is related to the core temperature such that where T=temperature in ‹ K., P=partial O 2 pressure and C 1 and C 2 are constants such that when PO 2 = 0À001 ats., the temperature is >1040‹ C.; at 1350‹ C. PO 2 is <0À06 ats.; while during cooling from 1000‹ C. to room temperature, PO 2 <0À0003 ats. The products have low disaccommodation values over a wide temperature range.
