1,207,782. Milling cutters. MAYDOWN PRODUCTS Ltd. 21 Feb., 1969 [23 Feb., 1968], No. 9378/69. Heading B3K. A milling cutter e.g. an end mill 10 has cutting inserts 18 the cutting edges 26 of which are of sinuous outline. The inserts which may be of tungsten carbide are arranged so that in cutting, the peaks of one insert cover the troughs of the other inserts. The various edges may be distinguished as shown by marks 34.
