Abstract

1,171,361. Inflable splints. R. PHILIPP. 14 June, 1967, No. 27455/67. Heading A5R. An inflatable bandage-splint comprises a double-walled assembly adapted to surround a limb and including an inflation valve 6, the assembly containing at least 3 elongated parallel air chambers 1, 2, 3, the joins 7, between the chambers having a width of at least 10 mms. Air holes 8 may be provided in the joins and pressure is regulated by safety valve 9. Embodiments suitable for an arm and a leg are described.
