[Also in Division E1] In a watercloset pan with a hollow inlet part 2 having conventional flushing openings 6 at the end of the baffle 4, a closed passage 8 in the rim with a central flushing opening 9 has at least two further holes 11 to the pan interior, one on either side thereof, the relative dimensions of the ports 11 and openings 9 being such that a pressurized stream or jet flows rearwardly from the opening 9. The opening 9 may be elongated or replaced by a group of holes. A bidet or slop sink may be similarly constructed.
