[Also in Division B3] A joint for a lattice girder at the junction of two diagonal braces is formed by welding the ends of the braces 3 together as at 5, inserting the welded ends in an aperture in the web of a chord of the girder and forming welds 6 between the braces 3 and the web of the chord along two opposed outer surfaces only of the braces. The girder may comprise channel, box, angle or I-sections.
