Abstract

The machine is partic. for handling milk products, having a sterile chamber contng. a production track for sealed packings from plastic sheet. Means are provided for drawing in, cleaning and filtration of the ambient air and driving it thus sterilised from top to bottom through the chamber. The air flow is kept laminar, and it is discharged at the bottom through an opening via which the finished packings are also delivered by gravity. The air can be drawn in by a fan via a first filter and delivered to the top part of the machine contng. germ-killing radiation lamps and a second filter. Hinged flaps can be provided to close the air discharge opening.
