Abstract
Surface is etched in an acid solution, then a protective coating is applied and hardened in the presence of ambient relative humidity not above 50% and an ambient dust content of not more than 100 particles/cm3, of particle size not more than 10 mu. Hardening is not not more than 40 degrees C. Pref. the coating contains a humidity absorber such as an alcohol gum-lac varnish. After the coating, the surface is treated with a hydrophobic organic substance.
