Durch die Anordnung des Abdeckstreifens in der Vertiefung wird dieser vor mechanischer Beschädigung geschützt und verhindert, dass der Abdeckstreifen in einem Setzgerät durch Kontakt mit einem Transportelement, wie einer Transportklinke oder ähnlichem, unbeabsichtigt gelöst wird und es so ggf. zu einer Fehlfunktion, wie z. B. einer Transportblockade, im Setzgerät kommt. Der Abdeckstreifen kann dabei z.
