    Claims (12)

    1. Locking fitting for a sliding leaf, comprising a casing (2) extending perpendicularly to the rear of a fastening plate (5) provided with an opening (6) for acceding to an actuating organ (7) for controlling the displacement, between a locked position and an unlocked position, of at least one slide (8) fitted in an axially movable way in said casing (2) and designed capable of acting at least on a bolt holder (15), characterised in that said bolt holder (15) is defined, at one end (14) of the slide (8), by a median strip (19) delimited by cutting lines (17, 18) with respect to the side strips (20, 21), the latter and/or said median strip (19) being counter-bent, at their ends (25), in order to extend in parallel offset planes and to define a transversal slot (22) for the passing through of the shaft (23) of a locking bolt (24), said side strips (20, 21), the median strip (19) and at least one (25) of the counter-bent ends (25) of one and/or the other of these strips forming at least three isostatic bearing points for said shaft (23) of the locking bolt (24).
    2. Locking fitting according to claim 1, characterised in that the other counter-bent end of this or these strips - median (19) or side (20, 21) strips - or of the clamping means form a fourth isostatic bearing point for the shaft (23) of the locking bolt (24).
    3. Locking fitting according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the bolt holder (15) includes means for clamping the shaft (23) of a locking bolt (24) in the transversal slot (22), in the form of a set screw (26), passing through a tapped hole (27) in the median strip (19) or one of the side strips (20, 21).
    4. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the casing (2) includes parallel side walls (3, 4) at the outermost edge (9, 10) and between which the slide (8) is slideably fitted, so as to close this casing (2) at least partially in its rear portion and to delimit, with the fastening plate (5), a volume for receiving control and/or safety organs.
    5. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bolt holder (15) extends offset towards the interior of the casing (2) with respect to the general plane of the slide (8), the offset resulting from a double "S"-shaped folding (8A) imparted to the latter.
    6. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that at the level of each of its parallel walls (3, 4) the casing (2) includes an elongated hole (28) for the passing through of the shaft (23) of a locking bolt (24), so as to be capable of allowing the latter to co-operate with the bolt holder (15).
    7. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the slide (8) are cut out and folded back more or less inside the casing (2) one or more tongues (29, 30, 31) likely to define, as the case may be :
      control pawls for ensuring the displacement of this slide (8) between its locked position and its unlocked position ;
      and/or locking pawls designed capable, in co-operation with stop planes (32, 33, 34), of forming, as the case may be, a burglary-safe device (35) and/or an anti-accidental operation device (36).
    8. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the actuating organ (7) is designed capable of moving transversely to the casing (2) in the opening (6), i.e. perpendicularly to the plane of the slide (8), while means (37) are provided for converting this displacement of said actuating organ (7) into an axial and longitudinal displacement of this slide (8).
    9. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that it includes means for elastically restoring the slide (8) into locked position.
    10. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the slide (8) is extended at one and/or the other of its ends (14, 66) by junction means (67) designed capable of co-operating with complementary junction means (68) associated to operating rods (69) extending above or below the casing (2).
    11. Locking fitting according to any of claims 4 to 10, characterised in that the slide (8) is cambered transversely and towards the rear of the casing (2) so as to be capable of increasing the volume of the latter.
    12. Locking fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the slide (8) results from a cut out and deep drawn metallic flat bar.
