An der Außenseite 16 der Fahrzeugtür befindet sich im Bereich
der Griffmulde 17 eine Griffklappe 18 sowie ein Abdeckrahmen
19. Zur Verbindung der Griffklappe 18 und des jeweiligen
Schwenkhebels 6 ist ein mit der Griffklappe 18 jeweils festverbundener
hebelförmiger Arm 20 vorgesehen, der um eine an
dem jeweiligen Schwenkhebelende 21 angeordnete Achse 22
schwenkbar gelagert ist. Dabei wird der Schwenkvorgang des
Armes 20 gegenüber dem Schwenkhebel 6 durch eine Drehfeder 23
unterstützt. Zur Begrenzung der Schwenkbewegung des jeweiligen
Armes 20 befindet sich an dem jeweiligen Schwenkhebelende
21 ein Zapfen 24 der entlang einer in dem Arm 20 enthaltenen
Führungsausnehmung 25 mit zwei Anschlägen 26, 27 verschwenkbar

Der jeweilige hebelförmige Arm 20 wird auf seinem oberen Rand
28 außerdem durch eine Führung (Ablaufkontur) 29 des Grundkörpers

formschlüssig geführt wird und ein Verschwenken des Armes

Im folgenden wird näher auf die Funktionsabläufe bei der
Betätigung der Griffklappe 18 eingegangen: Wird die Griffklappe
18 aus der in Fig.1 dargestellten Ruhestellung gezogen,
so wird der Schwenkhebel 6 über den hebelförmigen Arm
20 betätigt. Der Schwenkhebel 6 dreht sich um die Achse 7 und
nimmt den Betätigungshebel 8 über die Schenkelfeder 9 in
Öffnungsrichtung mit. Nachdem der Schwenkhebel 6 und damit
auch der Betätigungshebel 8 um einen vorgegebenen Winkel a
(von z.B. 10 bis 25°) geschwenkt sind, schlägt der Betätigungshebel
8 mit einem an seinem Ende 30 angeordneten Anschlag
31 gegen den Grundkörper 2, so daß ein weiteres
Schwenken des Betätigungshebels 8 nicht möglich ist (Fig.2).

Drehfeder 23 freigegeben, so daß die Drehfeder 23 den Arm 20
mit Griffklappe 18 nach unten in eine griffgünstige Lage

stützt der Rasthebel 34 sich auf dem Rand (Lauffläche) 28 des
Armes 20 der Griffklappe 18 ab, so daß eine Schwenkbewegung
des Rasthebels 34 erst erfolgen kann, wenn sich die Griffklappe

Claims (9)
- A motor vehicle door handle having a basic member (2) and a handle flap (18), which in its initial position partially covers an outer handle depression (17), wherein the handle flap (18) is connected to one lever end (21) of two swivel levers (6) pivoted in the interior (3) of the vehicle door, so that, upon a corresponding actuating force on the door handle, the lever ends (21) are outwardly displaced against the force of a spring and an operating part (8) located in the interior (3) of the door and coupled with at least one of the swivel levers (6) is moved, which operating part can be connected to a lock adjustment member, characterised by the features:a) the handle flap (18) is connected to the swivel levers (6) via lever-shaped arms (20);b) the respective lever-shaped arm (20) can swivel around an axis (22) disposed on the respective end (21) of the swivel lever in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the swivel lever (6) into an easy-grip operating position;c) the basic member (2) comprises a guide contour (guideway) (29), by which the respective lever-shaped arm (20) is guided, when the handle flap is pulled out, from the initial position into a second final position (wide open position) in a predetermined swivel path section in such a manner that a swivelling of the arm (2) into the easy-grip operating position can only take place after the end of the predetermined swivel path section has been reached.
- A motor vehicle door handle according to Claim 1, characterised in that the guideway (29) of the basic member (2) is selected in such a manner that a swivelling of the arm (20) into the easy-grip operating position can only take place after the pulled position of the handle flap (18) is reached (position in which the lock of the motor vehicle door is opened).
- A motor vehicle door handle according to Claim 1, characterised in that the guideway (29) of the basic member (2) is chosen in such a manner that a swivelling of the arm (20) into the easy-grip operating position can only take place after the wide open position of the handle flap (18) is reached.
- A motor vehicle door handle according to one of Claims 1 to 3,
characterised in that a torsion spring (23) is provided to swivel the arm (20) into the easy-grip operating position. - A motor vehicle door handle according to one of Claims 1 to 4,
characterised in that to limit the swivel movement of the arm (20) with respect to the swivel lever (6), on the swivel lever end (21) a pin (24) is provided, which can be swivelled along a guide recess (25) contained in the arm (20) with two stops (26, 27). - A motor vehicle door handle according to one of Claims 1 to 5,
characterised in that the end (32) of the arm (20) faced away from the handle flap (18) is constructed as a clamping or locking part, so that after the swivel movement of the arm (20) into the easy-grip operating position the clamping or locking part (32) forms with the basic member (2) a clamping or locking connection and the arm (20) is retained in its swivelled position. - A motor vehicle door handle according to one of Claims 1 to 6,
characterised in that the operating lever (8) is a lever which is pivoted around the same axis of rotation (7) as the swivel lever (6),in that the swivel lever (6) and the operating lever (8) are connected to one another via a coupling spring (9) so that when the handle flap (18) is pulled the swivel lever (6) and the operating lever (8) both swivel in the same direction,and in that the swivel path of the operating lever (8) is smaller than that of the swivel lever (6), so that after the extended position of the handle flap (18) has been reached the operating lever (8) is blocked and for the further swivelling of the swivel lever (6) into the wide open position the coupling spring (9) is stretched. - A motor vehicle door handle according to Claim 7, characterised in that the swivel lever (6) and the operating lever (8) comprise drivers (13, 15) which are disposed in such a manner that with the lock blocked after compressing the coupling spring (9) the operating lever (8) is entrained by the swivel lever (6).
- A motor vehicle door handle according to one of Claims 1 to 8,
characterised in that disposed on the basic member (2) is a spring-loaded swivelling notch lever (34), which in the wide open position retains the swivel lever (6) in the outwardly swivelled position,in that for this purpose the notch lever (34) comprises a hook-shaped latch (36) on its first end (35), which in the wide open position encircles a pin (37) disposed on the swivel lever (6),and in that the notch lever (34) is supported by its second end (38) on the edge (28) of the arm (20) so that a swivel movement of the notch lever (34) can only take place when the handle flap (18) is in the wide open position.
