Definitions
- the invention relates to a knife, in particular deburring knife for plastic parts, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a knife has become known from DE-C-41 12 482.
- the known knife handle can be adapted to the anatomically predetermined width of the respective user's hand.
- transition handle area and the handle end area are thread-coupled for axial relative adjustment to one another.
- the threaded coupling is designed in such a way that from the transition handle area or from the handle end area a thread extension coaxial with the longitudinal central axis of the handle projects, which engages in a corresponding threaded bore of the handle end area or the transition handle area.
- the known practice-proven knife it is desirable to be able to adapt it to the width of the user's hand more quickly than before.
- the known knife in which at least the external thread section is made of metal and in the manufacture of the knife in the plastic injection molding process overmolded felt to be relatively expensive to manufacture.
- the invention has for its object to redesign the known advantageous knife so that it allows easier manufacture and also a quick adjustability of the axial handle length.
- this object is achieved in that internal and external thread elements are provided only on a partial circumference of the transition handle area and the handle end area, can be brought from an engagement position into a release position by means of a relative partial circumference rotation, can be displaced relative to one another in the release position in the axial direction, and can be moved into an engagement position again by means of a partial circumferential rotation.
- a partial circumferential rotation of the handle end region of, for example, 90 ° is sufficient.
- the handle end area can be axially displaced unhindered relative to the transition handle area and then be set back through an opposite partial circumferential rotation by again 90 ° into an engagement position corresponding to the desired axial relative position.
- the knife according to the invention therefore permits rapid adjustment of the axial handle length.
- the knife according to the invention can be manufactured more easily in the plastic injection molding process than the known knife, because thread areas provided only on a partial circumference allow relatively inexpensive tools thanks to their easier demolding.
- a deburring knife is generally designated by the reference number 10.
- the knife 10 has a front handle area 11 as a receptacle for an interchangeable blade 12, a transition handle area 13 and a sleeve-like handle end area 14 which is telescopically adjustable with respect to the transition handle area 13 along the double arrow a.
- the handle end area 14 has a substantially circular cylindrical inner surface 15, while the cross section of the transition handle area 13 is essentially rectangular, but in the area of its handling ribs 16 and its marking ribs 17 each form a circular contour, which leads to the circular cylindrical inner surface 15 of the handle end region 14.
- the handle end area 14 is rotated around the longitudinal central axis x by a circumferential angle of 90 ° with the transition handle area 13 held in a fixed manner such that the edge K of the handle end area 14 visible from FIG Paper plane moves upwards.
- the sleeve-like grip end region 14 has an axial opening 24 at diametrically opposite locations in a mirror-symmetrical arrangement.
- the two rib strips namely the adjusting rib strip 20 with their external thread ribs 22 and the marking rib strip 25 with their marking ribs 17 in the release position of the transition grip area 13 and the grip end area 14 (according to FIG. 1), each with an axial opening 24, are in register.
- a simplification of operation is achieved in that each axial opening 24 is assigned a marking 26, which is located in the repeat with the internal thread rib 18 and one of the external thread grooves 19 or one of the marking grooves 27.
- the handle end region 14 is pushed along the longitudinal central axis x (from right to left according to FIGS. 1-3) and according to FIGS. 4-6 into the paper plane over the spring tongue 29 onto the transition handle region 13.
- the spring tongue 29 is flattened on the outside at 30, the internal thread rib 18 protruding inward from the inner lateral surface 15 can be inserted radially laterally next to the spring tongue 29.
- the spring tongue 29 springs radially inward thanks to the free cut 31 (see FIG. 2), thus giving way to the internal thread rib 18 so that it 5 parallel to the flattened portion 23 of the transition handle area 13.
- the grip end region 14 can initially be shortened axially of the knife 10 are axially displaced and the internal thread rib 18 is rotated with a further partial circumferential rotation in the direction u by 90 ° into an external thread groove 19 and thereby jammed, as shown in FIG. 6.
- the spring tongue 29 has set itself in front of the internally threaded rib 18, that is to say forms an axial stop which at least prevents the handle end area 14 from being unintentionally pulled off the transition handle area 13.
- the handle parts 11, 13 and 14 form injection molded parts made of a suitable plastic.
- a resiliently resilient latching cam 33 protruding from the inner surface 15 of the handle end region 14 (shown in dashed lines in FIG. 2) has the longitudinal edge 34 (see FIG. Fig. 3) reaches behind the transition handle area 13. Locking cams 33 and longitudinal edge 34 thus provide additional security against loosening of parts 13 and 14 from the clamping position.
