Date Nov. 17, 1988.The present disclosure describes a freight container for air transportation purposes having a bottom panel and arranged thereon a support frame that features sections projecting from the bottom panel and transverse sections connecting the projecting sections, and also features planking that at least partly fills-in the frame and is fitted to flanges on the sections, the sections being interconnected at nodal points in the supporting frame, at least in part, by gusset-plates, in which, the gusset-plates are flat and are secured to flanges on the sections, the flanges being in-line with a section wall, extending it outwards beyond a hollow part of the section.

Die Stege fluchten mit einer Profilwand des Pfostens und verlängern dieses über hohlprofilartigen Abschnitt hinaus. Auch sind hier ebene Knotenbleche zu erkennen. Außerdem ist dort zwischen dem Firstprofil und einem Vertikalpfosten ein Knotenblech zur Versteifung angenietet, wobei der Vertikalpfosten offenbar L-förmig und das Firstprofil ein Nutprofil mit einseitig abstehendem Steg ist. Dies ermöglichen die Verlängerungsstege der einen Profilwand. Für dieses Merkmal der durch Stege einseitig oder beidseits verlängerten Profilwand wird für den Einsatz bei Lufttransportbehältern ein besonderer Schutz begehrt, da diese Ausbildung im Containerbau unüblich ist. Die Seitenwand 29 ist in Fig. 5 beidseits über das Hohlprofil hinaus durch Stege 27 verlängert (Kraglänge e = 23 mm) zu einer Gesamtlänge i von 81 mm. Claims (1)

  1. Freight container for air transport with a supporting frame which is arranged on a bottom panel and which comprises vertical hollow profiles extending up from the bottom panel and horizontal profiles connecting then, as well as with sheeting which at least partially lines the supporting frame and is mounted on webs of the vertical hollow profiles, wherein vertical hollow profiles of the freight container are connected to webs aligned on both sides of a profile wall, and the hollow profiles are at least partially connected by flat gusset plates at junction points, characterised in that hollow profiles (12) serving as corner profiles comprise a web (27) aligned with a profile side wall (29), as well as a web at right angles thereto and projecting approximately centrally from this profile side wall.
