Abstract

Apparatus for opening the filling openings of bags connected together in the manner of a band. The apparatus includes two conveyor belts between which the opening edges of the bags are guided and each of which is guided around at least one compensating roller displaceable in the direction of movement of the bags. A spreader arrangement engages between the opening edges of the bags and comprises two flexible elements each fixedly mounted at one end and displaceable at the other end, and which together with the associated conveyor belts grip the opening edges of the respective bag and are displaceable in an outward direction by adjuster means for the purpose of forming a filling opening. A rotary member is arranged above at least one of the opening edges of the filling opening substantially parallel to the direction of movement of the bag and is driven in opposition to the filling direction of the filling material.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Aufspreizen der Füllöffnungen von miteinander bandartig verbundenen Beuteln aus Folienmaterial oder dergleichen, bestehend aus zwei Transportriemen, zwischen denen die Beutel mit ihren Öffnungsrändern geführt sind und die jeweils um mindestens eine in Beuteltransportrichtung bewegbare Kompensationsrolle geführt sind, und bestehend aus einer zwischen die Öffnungsränder eingreifenden Spreizanordnung, die zwei flexible, jeweils an einem Ende ortsfest und am anderen Ende beweglich gelagerte Elemente umfaßt, die gemeinsam mit den zugeordneten Transportriemen die Öffnungsränder des jeweiligen Beutels erfassen und mittels Stellmittel nach außen bewegbar sind.The invention relates to a device for spreading the filling openings of bags of film material or the like connected to one another in a band-like manner, consisting of two transport belts, between which the bags are guided with their opening edges and which are each guided by at least one compensation roller that can be moved in the bag transport direction, and consisting of a between the opening edges engaging spreading arrangement, which comprises two flexible elements, each fixed at one end and movably mounted at the other end, which, together with the associated transport belts, grasp the opening edges of the respective bag and can be moved outwards by means of adjusting means.

Bei einer bekannten Vorrichtung der vorausgesetzten Art (DE-B-20 47 774) bestehen die flexiblen Spreizelemente aus Gliederketten, die zur Bildung der Füllöffnung an dem jeweiligen Beutel nach außen gespannt werden. Das die jeweilige Gliederkette nach außen spannende Stellmittel besteht aus einem mit einer Zugstange versehenen Bügel, der in etwa in der Mitte der Einfüllöffnung an der Kette angreift und diese senkrecht zur Transportrichtung der bandartig verbundenen Beutel nach außen zieht. Diese Vorrichtung weist gewisse Nachteile auf. Da die flexiblen Spreizelemente durch Ketten gebildet werden, wird beim Spannen der Ketten nach außen eine rhombusartige Füllöffnung erzeugt. Aufgrund dieser rhombusartigen Füllöffnung ergeben sich an den Ecken des Rhombus starke Umlenkungen der Öffnungsränder der Beutel, die zu einer Beschädigung des Beutelmaterials führen können. Darüber hinaus beanspruchen die Kettenglieder ebenfalls das Beutelmaterial erheblich, und zwar selbst dann, wenn die Ketten mit umlaufenden Mitnehmerkörpern ausgerüstet sind. Diese Mitnehmerkörper führen zu dem weiteren Nachteil, daß die Ketten relativ kompliziert ausgebildet werden müssen und damit teuer sind. Die geschilderte Beanspruchung der Öffnungsränder der Beutel begrenzt ferner die Transportgeschwindigkeit der Beutel und damit die Verarbeitungsgeschwindigkeit der Vorrichtung. Bei der bekannten Vorrichtung werden die Kompensationsrollen für die Transportriemen mittels Federkraft gespannt. Je weiter deshalb die Spreizmittel und damit die Transportriemen beim Öffnen des jeweiligen Beutels auseinandergeführt werden, desto größer wird die von den gespannten Transportriemen auf die Spreizelemente ausgeübte Kraft, wodurch auf die zwischen den Transportriemen und den Spreizelementen hindurchlaufenden Öffnungsränder des jeweiligen Beutels eine erhebliche Reibungskraft ausgeübt wird. Diese Reibungskraft führt ebenfalls zu einer erheblichen Beanspruchung des Beutelmaterials, insbesondere bei hohen Transportgeschwindigkeiten.In a known device of the presupposed type (DE-B-20 47 774) the flexible expansion elements consist of link chains which are stretched outwards to form the filling opening on the respective bag. Die Vorrichtung zum Aufspreizen der Füllöffnung eines in Einzelbeutel unterteilten, längsgefalteten Folienbandes umfaßt ein Montagegestell 1, auf dem zwei zueinander und zur Transportrichtung des Folienbandes parallele Führungseinrichtungen 2 angeordnet sind, auf denen mittels einer z. B. pneumatisch wirkenden Betätigungsvorrichtung 4 ein Schlitten 3 verschieblich ist. Der Transport des Folienbandes erfolgt mittels zwei parallel geführter Transportriemen 9, welche die Öffnungsränder des Folienbandes erfassen und führen. Der Antrieb bzw. die Führung der Transportriemen 9 erfolgt mittels entsprechend angeordneter Riemenscheiben, die am Montagegestell 1 entsprechend gelagert sind. Während die Riemenscheiben 6 z. B. mittels eines Elektromotors 5 angetrieben sind, laufen die Riemenscheibenpaare 7 und 8 frei mit. Die Lamellen 11 kommen zwischen den Öffnungsrändern des jeweiligen Einzelbeutels zu liegen und klemmen diese im Zusammenwirken mit den zugeordneten Transportriemen 9 ein. Die Lamellen sind an ihren beiden Enden mittels Gelenken 12 und 13 scharnierartig miteinander verbunden. Während das Gelenk 12 ortsfest am Montagegestell 1 angeordnet ist, ist das Gelenk 13 dem Schlitten 3 zugeordnet und verschiebt sich mit dem Schlitten 3. Ein Aufspreizen der Füllöffnung des jeweiligen Beutels erfolgt dadurch, daß der Schlitten 3 und damit das Gelenk 13 in Transportrichtung des Folienbandes in Richtung auf das Gelenk 12 verschoben wird, wodurch die Lamellen 11 voneinander abgespreizt werden. Diese Bewegung machen die Transportriemen 9 aufgrund einer noch näher zu beschreibenden Anordnung mit. Durch das Auseinandergehen der Lamellen 11 und der Transportriemen 9 werden die Öffnungsränder des Beutels, die zwischen den genannten Bauteilen eingeklemmt sind, ebenfalls auseinanderbewegt, wodurch die Füllöffnung an dem Beutel ausgebildet wird. Nach erfolgter Füllung wird die Füllöffnung des Beutels wieder geschlossen, indem die Lamellen 11 und gemeinsam mit ihnen die Transportriemen 9 wieder aufeinander zu bewegt werden, indem der Schlitten 3 unter Mitnahme des Gelenkes 13 wieder zurückbewegt wird. Wie aus Fig.4 ersichtlich ist, liegt die Rolle 23 teilweise verdeckt hinter der Wandung 28 des Füllschachtes, die die Kontur eines Öffnungsrandes der Füllöffnung hat. Schräg oberhalb der Rolle 23 befindet sich ein Förderband 29, welches kurz vor der Rolle 23 über eine Umlenkwalze 30 läuft. Entsprechend dem Pfeil B bewegt sich das Fördertrum des Förderbandes 29 in Richtung auf den Füllschacht und fördert das einzufüllende Material heran. Die Rolle 23 bewegt sich entsprechend dem Pfeil C in hierzu entgegengesetzter Richtung, d. h. gegen die Einfüllrichtung des Füllgutes. An das Förderband 29 schließt sich ein Abdeckblech 31 an, welches dicht über der Rolle liegt und hinsichtlich seiner Unterkante an die konkave Kontur der Rolle 23 angepaßt ist. Claims (8)

1. Apparatus for opening out the charging orifices of bags made of film material or the like and interconnected in the form of a strip, which apparatus consists of two conveyor belts (9), between which the bags are moved by the edges of their orifices and which are each moved around at least one compensation roll (10) movable in the direction in which the bags are conveyed, the apparatus further consisting of a bag-opening means which engages between the edges of the orifices and comprises two flexible elements (11), which are each of fixed location at one end and are movably mounted at the other end, which elements, together with the associated conveying belts, grip the edges of the orifice of each bag and are outwardly movable by a positioning means so as to form the charging orifice (24), characterized in that a rotary part (23) is arranged above at least one of the edges of the charging orifice (24), which rotary part is mounted to rotate about an axis extending substantially parallel to the direction in which the bags are conveyed and is driven to rotate in the direction opposite that in which material is loaded into the bags.
2. Apparatus according to Claim 1, characterized in that the rotary part is formed as an axially symmetrical roll (23).
3. Apparatus according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a charging chute (27) is arranged above, and matches the cross-section of, the charging orifice (24) a conveyor belt (29) adjoining said charging chute transversely of the direction in which the bags are conveyed.
4. Apparatus according to Claims 2 and 3, characterized in that the roll (23) has a concave axially symmetrical surface, the contour of which matches that of the charging orifice (24) and of the charging chute (27) adjoining it.
5. Apparatus according to Claim 4, characterized in that the contour of the roll (23) is flush with the wall (28) of the charging chute (27) that is located substantially vertically above that edge of the charging orifice (24) concerned, or said contour projects in part into the charging chute.
6. Apparatus according to at least one of Claims 3 and 4, characterized in that a cover plate (31) is arranged between the roll (23) and the conveyor belt (29), which cover plate is on the one hand secured to the charging chute (27) and on the other hand matches the contour of the roll (23) and partially covers it.
7. Apparatus according to at least one of Claims 2 to 6, characterized in that at least the surface of the roll (23) is made of rubber or plastics material, or is provided with closely aligned bristles.
8. Apparatus according to at least one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the surface of the roll (23) is provided with axially symmetrical peripheral grooves.
