Abstract

The glazing profiles are for connecting panes of glass, particularly for the construction of green houses and similar. The upper (1) and lower (2) profiles are of metal and span the spaced edges of a pair of glass panes (5). Their extremities have grooves (7) for sealing material (6) which bears against the panes. A force-fit clamping profile (3) is formed in the middle of the lower profile, and cooperates with webs (4) on the upper profile. Varying thicknesses of glass can be accommodated by extending the central clamp with one or more distance pieces of thermal insulating material.
