Der Zeiger des Meßwerks überstreicht mit seinem Ausschlagwinkel die im Display dargestellte Skala. Die zu messende Größe wird dem Zeigerinstrument zugeführt. Durch diese Anordnung kann die Skala an die Meßaufgabe angepaßt werden.
