Abstract
4,6-Dibromo-3-hidroxipicolinonitrilo se puede prerparar de furfural en una serie de etapas químicas seleccionadas de cianoaminacion, formacion de sal amina y reodenacion de bromacion. Los acidos de 4-alcoxi-3-hidroxipocolínicos se pueden preparar convenientemente de 4,6-dibromo-3-hidroxipicolinonitrilo en una serie de etapas quimicas seleccionadas de la sustitutcion de bromo, hidrolisis de nitrilo y reduccion de halogeno.
