The electric toothbrush has different brushing modes, for example: firstly, the motor a1 is controlled by a control program stored in the control circuit a2 to change the rotating direction of the output shaft a11 at intervals of a long time, so that the rotating shaft 6 and the rotating shaft 7 change the rotating direction of the rotating shaft 6 and the rotating shaft 7 after rotating for a plurality of circles, thereby changing the brushing direction of the brush 100 at intervals of a long time and brushing teeth and teeth gaps. Secondly, when the control program stored in the control circuit a2 controls the motor a1 to change the rotating direction of the output shaft a11 at short intervals, the rotating shaft 6 and the rotating shaft 7 rotate back and forth within a small angle range, so that the brush 100 changes the brushing direction at high frequency, and a user can clean stubborn stains in teeth or tooth gaps conveniently. The user can select different brushing modes by operating the button 11.
Referring to fig. 1, 2, 3 and 4, the inner surface of the protective case 5 is provided with a bar-shaped protrusion 51 between the rotation shaft 6 and the rotation shaft 7 so that the inner surface of the protective case 5 forms two semi-cylindrical grooves.
Referring to fig. 1, 2, 3, 7 and 8, the structure of the rotating shaft 6 is the same as that of the rotating shaft 7, taking the rotating shaft 6 as an example: the rotating shaft 6 comprises a shaft core 61 and a sleeve 62, wherein the shaft core 61 is a polygonal cylinder, and preferably: the shaft core 61 is a quadrangular cylinder. When the brush 100 needs to be simply cleaned, the brush 100 can be wetted, the sealing cover 8 is buckled on the protective shell 5, the motor a1 is started, the brush 100 rotates and is mutually scraped with the cylinder 81, and therefore residual dirt and impurities on the surface of the brush 100 are removed.
