Description

Flexible sealing and fastening strip for putty-free glass roofs and method of manufacturing the same. So far, flexible sealing and fastening strips for putty-free glass roofs have been rolled, e.g. B. to lead sheet. The product is initially very expensive and also not stable enough. According to the present method, the strip of fluidized block material, e.g.

   B. made of block lead, pressed profiled. As a result, the strip, which is then a press product and has a profile having a plurality of wings, becomes cheaper, since block lead is cheaper than sheet lead, more stable and more usable.

In the drawing, a strip produced in this way is shown in FIG. 1 in a first embodiment and in FIG. 2 in a second embodiment, while FIG. 3 shows the use of the first embodiment and FIG. 4 that of the second embodiment.

Two wings 3 and 4 lying in one plane go laterally from a short vertical web 1 at its foot in different directions. At the top of the webs, two wings 5 and 6 go from the same on two sides. The inner parts 7 and 8 of the wings 3 and 4 are intended to be placed on a rung 9 and the outer parts 10 and 11 of the wings 3 and 4 are to be true to be bent around the rung 9, as shown in FIG 3 and 4 show.

In the first embodiment be the parts 7 and 8 sit on their tops two ribs 13 and 13 respectively. 14 and 15. On these will be; 4 shows, the glass panes 16 and 17 are placed, and then the wings 5 and 6 are bent onto the glass panes. The ribs 12 to 15 then prevent the water from penetrating under the glass panes towards the interior.

In your embodiment of FIGS. 2 and 3, only one rib 12 and 15 is seen before. The two Figs. 3 and 4 let him know that the strip can be used for glass panes of different thicknesses.

This strip also has the advantage that the arrangement and soldering of copper clips, as was customary up to now, is no longer necessary because the parts 10 and 11 can be bent directly around the rung. The example according to FIG. 1 is used to implement glass roofs with a very little slope, the one according to FIG. for those with a steep gradient.

The profiled strips can be pressed, for example, in that, for example, block lead as a soft block material is made liquid in a melting vessel. The lead then flows into the press and is pressed through a die. This can be done, for example, by means of a hydraulic press pump.
