Archbishop Myers visits St. Peter's Church

Archbishop John J. Myers visited St. Peter’s in Belleville on Sunday November 17 for the very first time.  He celebrated a Mass bringing the Catholic parish's Centennial Celebrations to a close. The parish just celebrated the 175th Anniversary of its founding and the 100th anniversary of the laying of the Church cornerstone.  The parishioners who packed the Church got to discover a warm and loving side of the Archbishop, who spent a long period of time both before and after Mass greeting the parishioners and giving them his blessing.
