I'm a total anime and manga otaku. Well, I kinda used to like just watching animes. My otaku life kinda revolved on anime until I became fond of reading mangas just recently. And now, I just can't stop myself from reading mangas from one after another. I became really addicted to it unconsciously and before I knew it, I've already read more than I thought I could in just a short span of time. Not to mention that I'm also working as a writer for various publications while taking care of my daughter xD

Master Roshi would be my teacher of choice. I can only dream of how wonderful it would be to attend Youkai Academy. It would be so awesome to attend Tokyo Butei too. It would have been the ultimate high school experience for me!

That's awesome! Even more amazing English is your second language. It is mine too. Bosnian is my first. I do construction here in Denver. It is a good life though. Check out my Instagram if you ever want to see some of my projects @at_sarmo. I am about to watch Steins;Gate tonight. Very excited for that as well as the new Ghost in the Shell on Netflix!!

I LOVED Castlevania. I consider it an anime. I mean even though it was made in the US, there are a lot of nods to 80s OVAs and series. The characters were definitely hit or miss and you can tell it was written for a Western audience but, overall it was cool. I liked the character of Alucard and how it stayed pretty true to the Konami lore. I also thought Dracula was well-written and his wife's character was a cool plot curve. The Belmont and his love intrest were pretty two dimensional though.

I love Vampire Anime. I just finished the OVA Vampire Princess Miyu. I liked it a lot. Hellsing was awesome but for some reason, I did not finish it.

Which Vampire animes and mangas are your favorite?

I read Manga too. I really like Berserk and (although not manga) The Vampire Hunter D novels.

I have a daughter too. She is 4 and her favorite anime is Memaru and she is getting into Card Captor Sakura. We also love the movies Galaxy Express 999. We watch that before bed.

I agree with about the quirks of certain characters not losing their amazement. You know a character is well-written when they change and appeal to you differently as you re-watch in different stages of your life.

San Jose City looks interesting. A lot of old churches. I like that.

I think I will try to watch Vampire Knight next based off of you favorites list. I like stuff like that and it looks good.

Thank you. Amano is one of my favorite artists of all time. He published a tarot card deck with some of best art ever.

I see you like Detective Conan and Kenshin. Those are two of my favorites as well.
