Ohai. Retired anime fan going through relapse.

Here's how I rate stuff:

1/10: No anime will ever receive that score seriously. If I give this to an anime, consider it to be an unfair joke rating.

2/10: Exceptionally uninteresting, annoying or irritating anime. To be mostly found in "dropped". Haven't found anything belonging there.

3/10: Very unpleasant anime that I acknowledge people might legitimately like, but that I can't deal with at all personally speaking. Again, mostly in the dropped section.

4/10: Second degree of animes I have mostly negative thoughts and feelings over without necessarily hating on them.

5/10: The bare minimum of what I consider to be "bad anime", aka when the negative aspects outdo the positive ones.

6/10: The bare minimum of what I considered to be acceptably enjoyable. A few redeeming factors, but overly flawed or inconsistent.

7/10: "Okay" anime. What I consider to be the average rating of all the anime world out there.

8/10: Good anime, but not perfect by any stretch. Something I would recommend to people with specific interests.

9/10: Near flawless anime OR flawed anime that I personally enjoyed OR troll rating.

10/10: A special rating for animes that are very special to me. Can include a very few anime seasons that outdo the other ones and that need to be bumped up for consistency's sake.

I typically like:

- Not overly common and stereotypical bullshit characters.
- Mundane slice of life.
- Balls to the wall action (yes I know, opposites).
- Friendship and family stuff.
- Lolis (not exactly but lol @ my anime list).
- Yuri romance (it gets a pass).
- Thrillers that don't try to be too damn smart for their own good.
- Short animes.
- Diversity in anime.
- Good music, not restricted to OPs and EDs.
- Sad anime.

I typically dislike:

- Bullshit characters.
- Romance (most of the time except for one genre that is sometimes surprisingly okay).
- Mainstream anime (2hip2quit suck on it losers).
- Loooong animes.
- Lots of small specific things, too many pet peeves.
