The Gary Stu connection makes no sense in my mind. The whole issue with a Gary Stu is that they retract from any kind of tension the author is trying to portray. Rudeus isn't an Deus-ex machina character, in fact he's not even top 10 strongest characters even by the end of the series. There are larger, more threatening people than him. Take Hitogami, the threat he poses isnt exactly physical, it's a test of Rudeus' mental fortitude(the whole point of the story). For every bit of strength he has, it's made up 10-fold by his deep-seated issues.

Your Mushoku Tenshi was very good. Very in-depth, gave it a good read and I see your points. Like most people in this comment section, I don't agree with some of the things you said. I understand its not for everyone.
