You seem not to realize that Japanese are very serious about rankings. Although I was an athlete and teams were ranked hy wins and losses, creating anime productions is expensive, challenging, not easy and a kid - too many kids express their insipid opinions in the form of “reviews” The truth is 100+ reviews means nothing. Have you worked on ONE anime production team? I doubt it. Onehei is one of the most accurate based on true events historical narratives in Animation form created. Mediocre it is not. Todays cops are corrupt, they falsely arrest, they wrongfully and forcefully enter homes. Onehei represented one of Edo’s most successful and genuinely honest but courageous Arson and Theft prevention officials. The episodes are case load based. The narratives and scripting based on reported accounts. Your opinion and opinions account for nothing. What would a child know besides next to nothing? I am a professor of Art and Artist having produced and exhibited artwork for 53 years. The day you are accepted into an anime studio then contact me. Kids should not comment on what they do not know.

So basically you gave "Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online " a 7/10, and gave "Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni" a 3/10, what a clown🤡🤡

I must give you a massive THANK YOU for noticing and pointing out that Descending Stories Rakugo is, at its core, a soap opera drama with a historical/rakugo coating. I was really getting sick of hearing all this flowery praise about how sophisticated it was because it was about history, the changing of tradition, and self realization or whatever but it really boils down to an angsty love triangle. And I agree the characters don't give me much reason to care about them. Of course, I differ from you in that I usually have a distaste for soap-opera-ish drama, but at least you recognize it for what it is and let the reader decide whether or not they like it.
Though I still don't see what's complex and intelligent about it. To me, the emotion mechanics of a show are what reveal its intelligence, and I don't rate it highly in that regard. Interestingly, I read an interview from the author, and when asked what she was trying to do or explore with the characters, she said she wanted to explore how Yakumo got this way (as in how he got so mopey in old-age). This to me is a confirmation that the author's aims were to create drama and angst and not resolve it, as is the pattern among BL authors. I mean, really, obsessing over the same man even after getting married to another man and having a kid? Both parents dropping to their deaths in a freak accident, so as to give the MC something to angst about for the rest of his life? As for the paternity controversy, that's another confirmation of the mindset of the author. |

you should stop writing reviews while you still can because you clearly suck at it
