Underrated Manga (Related anime is irrelevant)
Anime Relations: Fruits Basket
I recently made a video on underrated manga and wanted to share my thoughts here as well for anyone wanting to read them.
1. The World of SKK Girls - mystery, adventure
2. No Gyaru in Class - slice of life
3. Empyreal Cabinet - action, shounen
The three titles above offer a range of themes but they all share three things in common: great art, interesting stories, and good characters.
Both The World of SKK girls and No Gyaru in Class have quite a few chapters out which you can read fairly quickly.
Empyreal Cabinet, on the other hand, has 5 chapters but an average of 58 pages. One chapter has 90 pages so the reading time varies per chapter. Time flies by though because you get fully immersed into the world.
Definitely check these manga out. You can find them on Manga Plus app or website. They are free to read once through so take screenshots of your favorite moments haha

Newfound appreciation for mangakas!
Anime Relations: Fruits Basket 1st Season, Spy x Family
I've decided to join the MAL x HoneyFeed contest and have had so much fun creating a story within the contest parameters. Though I have always liked reading and writing, I never actually decided to create my own story, and man, is it hard.
'Don't overload the reader with information'
'Are the characters' personalities balanced?'
"Do these characters' have good chemistry?'
'Is the pacing good?'
All these questions and more have been racing through my mind as I write. Sometimes, I get into a groove where I really feel like it's coming together, but when I read it back it makes no sense LMFAO!
I honestly can't imagine how much more difficult in some ways and how much easier it would be in other ways to also have to worry about drawing the scenes. I have always respected the art of manga. Creating stories and seeing them come to life through art is so rewarding. I don't think I can stop writing now. I'm hooked! And now, I really want to learn how to draw! 😍
Some manga that I thought of when writing this post include:
MARRIAGETOXIN
Spy x Family
Fruits Basket
These manga have done a great job balancing the slice of life genre with such a huge number of characters, all of which have their own personalities and complex relationships with one another. I hope I can hone my writing skills and make something great like these titles that have inspired me.
Are you in the MAL x HoneyFeed contest? I want to read your stories so let me know the name of your stories! Mine is called "Ai no Ai Ai" or "Ai's Love Ai'. Good luck to everyone in the contest!
