Synopsis

In order to keep ocean peace, PKN was organized. It consisted of the state-of-the-art battle ships of various countries. However, they were raided during the foundation ceremony by the unidentified organization, USR, which plotted to conquer the world. They couldn’t be much for the submarine UX which was operated by Admiral Red of USR. But an old Japanese submarine, the 707 saved them, which was operated Captain Hayami at the risk of his life.

One year later, succeeding to the 707, which had been ruined during the former fight, newly developed submarine, the 707 II, went for a sail. Among the crews, there were boys, such as Kenji, Goro, and Senta, who had been trainees. PKN formed a fleet led by the Great Guardian, which was the latest battle ship of the United States. However, the attacks of Submarine U were very server, and the fleet was defeated. Then, the 707 arrived. As soon as Red noticed the 707, he was glad to reunion with his rival and began to fight.

Escaping from the submarine attack, they hid the 707 in the valley. But Red tried to destroy the valley in order to put the 707 into the torrents of mud. The 707 nearly escaped from it and got in the crater. However it was the pure water layer where the submarine couldn’t float up. At the moment, numerous torpedoes launched to the 707.

If you think that its going to just be about submairnes in Submarine 707 Revolution then you are mildly wrong. This series has a good plot and I am suprised that they stopped making more they could have made a good anime series out of these two good OVA's. From the Charaters the japanases commander of the 707 joins in on the fight with the Peace Keeping Nations to fight against the curing wind of the ocean the USR to cleanse the oceans of the thilfy invaders. If you look at these movies the charaters always have something that draws them together and in the ...

Not much to talk about in a 2 EP ova but im gonna try...

For what its worth, showing 1 big fight is probably the best way to do a 2 ep naval ova. But it is VERY cliche' to almost any submarine anime you've seen. But they try a little too much to reach a broad viewing audience.

The captain looks like "Pops" from speed racer, the 3 junior sailors consist of a smart guy, a fat guy, and a closet homosexual (what is up with the dog collar WITH leash), the enemy captail looks like M. Bison, and everyone else looks like a normal sailor. ...

Mixed Feelings
Submarine 707R immediately caught my eye, when browsing through OVAs, because (1) I’m a softcore military otaku—I have a childish wonder for things like trains, tanks, and battleships. Very similarly to *Jean Roque Lartigue and *Megane’s reasons for liking them, it isn’t a fascination for murder or war, but an appreciation for the design of the machine; the sheer love of wanting to ride in them and experience their grandeur in person. (2) There aren’t many anime series that primarily focus on submarines, the only other ones that come to mind are Blue Submarine No. 6 and Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. Full Metal ...
