English: One of the great blessings of being a Sabahan is that we have so much unique food that seems to never be found anywhere else. One on the list which happens to be my absolute favorite is this - locally made noodles fried with some meats.

The unique feature of this noodle is its egg-fragrant smell and springyness. Locally named Tuaran Mee (mee is a local name for noodles), this dish is typically found in fried form, though the noodles itself can also be served dry with soy sauce, or in a soup. The one I am having here has been fried with some pieces of pork and mustard greens.

We had this at Tuaran Mee Restaurant in Tuaran town, the town where this lovely dish originated from. Though it was pass 3 pm, the coffee shop was still busy with customers who like us, all ordered these Tuaran fried noodles. My friends had the seafood version but I opted for this with pork, of course!
