Anil Kapoor says it’s become ‘very very tricky’ to please audiences after working for decades in films
Anil Kapoor is a prolific actor and there is no doubt about it. He has been in the industry for decades and has given many memorable performances. Recently, the actor opened up about the changing scenario in the industry and how it has become very hard to please the audience. He also spoke about hard work not being the only key to success these days.

Anil Kapoor was recently in Alibaug with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sobhita Dhulipala for the trailer launch of his upcoming web-series, ‘The Nigh Manager.’ It is the Indian adaptation of the British series which will see Anil and Aditya pitted against each other in the backdrop of illegal arms deals.

During the trailer launch, Anil Kapoor revealed how he needs to keep looking at different avenues to keep getting work. He said, “The first thing that it should make me nervous and feel that I can’t do this, I’ve not done something like this before. And then I think about how I want to give my best, because without doing my best (on-screen) otherwise how will I show my face to my friends. Will directors offer me work after seeing this or will I stop getting work altogether. I always have this nervousness and anxiety and hunger (to do good work) all the time and it pushes me.”

On finding it difficult to please the audiences these days, Anil Kapoor said, “After working for so many years it has become very, very tricky, what should I do, what have I done that people have not already seen me do. It is very tough and every day it is becoming tougher to excite the audience with so much stuff happening around. One needs blessings, only hard work doesn’t (make the cut) anymore. The right people have to come together to make something remarkable today. The right people have to come together to make something remarkable today.”

On the work front, Anil Kapoor was last seen in the film, ‘Jugjugg Jeeyo’ along with Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor and Prajakta Koli. Next, he will be seen in ‘Fighter’ alongside Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone.
