Honoring President Lincoln's Legacy
Statement from Conor O'Callaghan

PHOENIX - Marking President Lincoln's Birthday, AZ01 Congressional candidate Conor O'Callaghan released the following statement:
"Before he saved the Union and expanded the franchise of freedom, Abraham Lincoln was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Speaking about democracy near the end of his term, then-Congressman Lincoln stated: In leaving the people’s business in their own hands, we cannot be wrong.
"As we saw on January 6th and in the years since, some forces would seek to take away the people's business and, by extension, the will of the American people. They would seek to destroy the very democracy Lincoln gave his life to save.
"So as we commemorate the birthday and legacy of President Lincoln during this Black History Month, let us remember that the business of saving the Union in 2024 has been left in our hands. It has fallen to the voters once more to ensure the American experiment continues. Between now and November, I will fight like hell to make sure that it does."
