Installing Ubuntu Server 16.04.1 LTS in VMWare vSphere Hypervisor ESXi 6.0 step by step:
- First, set up the virtual machine. Following How to Install Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 on ESXi 5.5 up to step 20 will do that.
- The previous link also covers this part, but setting the server is easier following How to install a Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial Xerus) Minimal Server.
The ESXi version in the tutorials is 5.5, but it works in 6.0.
