As the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted many work-related processes and practices, the Industry 5.0 framework formulated new approaches for a sustainable and resilient European industry. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of the pandemic on job satisfaction in terms of gender differences and firm size in the context of the Industry 5.0 paradigm. Job Satisfaction Surveys (JSS) from the year 2013 to 2021 were analyzed. Our results indicate that in the Czech Republic, overall job satisfaction did not decline during the pandemic, and women were slightly more satisfied than men. Moreover, overall job satisfaction was slightly higher in small firms. These are surprising results, given the negative impacts on employment reported by many countries. We explore the differences in government policies and program...

Detailed analysis of the changes of customer's expectations can be conducted on the basis of assumptions of customer's life cycle, understood as the stages of customer's purchasing activity. Several concepts related to this issue have been introduced in the literature of the subject: Customer Relationship Life Cycle (CRLC), Customer's Activity Cycle (CLAN), The Relationship Life Cycle (RLC). Studies were carried out in three stages: Stage 1: interviews on company's activities, employees, customers, customer service process. Stage 2: analysis and evaluation of internal documentation of enterprises, including customer service contracts, procedures, and instructions for customer service. Stage 3: confronting the opinions of respondents (I and II) with their customers' opinions on the quality of services provided by the company and the risks identified in the course of the customer service process. The research section provides a proposal of customer segmentation prepared on the basis of a case study of three manufacturing companies from the construction industry and three groups of packages of actions that can be undertaken within the framework of customer target groups were prepared.

In order to remain competitive in global markets, companies are improving their product flow management processes, and the emphasis on streamlining logistics activities in order to reduce time and minimize supply chain costs is crucial in this area. Customers want to receive the ordered goods as soon as possible, so the flexibility of supply chains and their responsiveness to market demand should be as high as possible. The article analyses an integrated planning centre of one of the leading food producers. The planning centre manages the supply chain in the "End2End" model, i.e. from sending the expected demand for components needed for production, through production planning, to the delivery of the final product to the market for the customer. At the same time the centre manages not only the parent company's entities, but also cooperates with partners by integrating individual entities in the supply chain. The proposed improvements will pertain to the broadly understood subject of the flow of goods and information through ERP systems. The area of improvements included management processes in the supply chain of a manufacturing company, in order to improve its internal processes and increase the efficiency of operations.

The introduction covers the concept of financial literacy and the development of financial education in EU countries and in the Czech Republic. It also presents the strategic documents that have been gradually published. It turns out that there is a gap for research in the field of financial education strategy for elementary and school students and its coherence with lifelong education. The national strategic plan focuses mainly on the high school students, but the practice show that it should start with students that are in the compulsory education. The results of the OECD's research called Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) show educators and policy makers the quality and equity of learning outcomes achieved elsewhere and allow them to learn from the policies and practices applied in other countries. The goal of this article is to evaluate the project of financial education and analyze the current situation in the financial literacy of the elementary school students in Czech Republic in comparison with foreign countries. The article searches for the strengths, opportunities and threats using the method of SWOT analysis. Based on the obtained results it formulates conclusions and recommendations.

Based on the decision-making process and the output decisions are both software evaluated in terms of selected criteria. Students in the role of customers verify the quality of the two software tools and from which they elect a better alternative. Further-more, according to marketing metrics of Customer Perceived Value (CPV) is determined a value perceived by customers/students as the difference between the evaluation of the benefits, supply costs and perceived alternatives.

Satisfied employees results in greater productivity and less staff turnover. There are several factors that influence overall employee satisfaction, these include the level of communication, the relationships with co-workers and the nature of the work. The aim of this study was to determine the degree to which certain factors influence overall employee satisfaction. The study was first carried out in 2013 and subsequently repeated in 2015. Both studies are mutually comparable. In total, 1,776 and 1,470 respondents were interviewed in 2013 and 2015 respectively (excluding incomplete questionnaires). There were some limitations to the study in 2015: the low proportion of respondents with lower levels of education and the large proportion of Czech-owned organisations. The surveys show that from 2013 to 2015 there was no significant change in the partial and total satisfaction of employees.

This study’s aim was to conduct a questionnaire survey with DLOQ at secondary schools in the Czech Republic and to evaluate the time devoted to learning in these organizations. Respondents were approached via e-mail addresses obtained from the rehearsals of secondary schools in the Czech Republic. A total of 121 respondents the Czech Republic participated in the study. Most of them were employees aged 51–60 (47.11%), university graduates (95.04%) and managers (71.90%). When comparing the learning time, more than 40% of respondents spend 11–20 h per month with learning. Using t-test among the respondents with different learning time, a statistically significant difference (1–10 h per month versus 36 and more hours per month: p = 0.049, 21–35 h per month vs. more than 36 h per month: p = 0.012) was found.

To evaluate whether it is a learning organisation, the Marsick and Watkins Dimensions of a Learning Organisation Questionnaire can be used. In the Czech Republic, only a few studies have been conducted using this questionnaire. The aim of this paper is to compare the IT sector and the education sector in terms of learning time and assessment of the individual dimensions of the learning organisation by Marsick and Watkins. In 2018 and 2019, studies with the Dimensions of a Learning Organisation Questionnaire focusing on the IT sector and the education sector (secondary schools) were conducted in the Czech Republic. In total, 201 respondents from the IT sector and 121 respondents from secondary schools participated in the study. When comparing the time spent on self-education in both sectors, it is clear that the employees spend 1 to 20 hours per month with self-education, while in the IT sector common employees dedicate more to self-education, executives dedicate more to self-education in the education system. When comparing the average values of the dimensions of a learning organisation in relation to the time spent on self-education, the results in both sectors are very similar. It can be argued that the assessment of individual dimensions increases with the time spent on self-education up to 20 hours per month. The biggest difference in average values can be seen in Dimension 4, while the smallest difference on average dimension can be seen in Dimension 7.
