Abstract

En este artículo, se presentan los testimonios de docentes/mujeres en los que se plasman las representaciones simbólicas que, de su profesión y su práctica han construido. Son profesoras sindicalizadas a quienes su reciente ingreso al sistema educativo no solo les ha representado la oportunidad de una vida mejor, sino que también ha sido un tránsito difícil a través de una estructura por demás burocrática y hegemónica, que también les ha representado trabas importantes para el desarrollo profesional y personal que llega a tener resonancia en la calidad educativa.
