[Feature Request] Strings as value

Can a string Value be used on the Table, It seems that when I test this out on a standard table it works fine, but when using BOOM I get no Data value's for some items. I tried it as well with Vars and repeating panels. Im using influxDB and One measurement with 9 metrics and 1 Tag.

Im working to create a VM inventory sheet to keep track of changes, some values would be tag's and some fields with a mix of strings and numbers

Sorry. With the current design of this plugin, this can't be done as we support only numeric values. We don't have plan to do support anytime soon as this may require huge change
