[FEAT]: Maintenance Mode - EOL #300
Comments
Maintenance Mode In the world of software development, it refers to a point in a computer program's life when it has reached all of its goals and is generally considered to be "complete" and bug-free. Theis also refers to the point in XoopsCube's evolution when it is no longer supported by developers to be competitive with other products or the LAMP technology environment it operates within. In both cases, continued development is deemed unnecessary or ill-advised, but occasional bug fixes and security patches are still issued, hence the term maintenance mode. Moreover, maintenance mode often transitions to abandonware. |
Description
////— END OF LIFE Product — 24.04.2024
A finished product is a product that has reached the end of the product life cycle. This means that users will no longer be able to receive updates and the product's shelf life has expired. At this stage, vendors will stop marketing their product, service or software update.
XContainer new version is available and supersedes XCL
Xoopscube's new XContainer updates are complete in Japan and Switzerland. The XoopsCube project needs to be modified for maintenance or archived.
XContainer is an enterprise solution built using the latest technologies (No-code, AI, ML). There is no backwards compatibility. Xoopscube Legacy is therefore no longer supported.
