What I expected

The wpLink modal open of while trying to add a link to a page.

What happened instead

Nothing, seems like gutenberg disables the wpLink modal, if I install classic editor and don't use gutenberg it works

Screenshots

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install fresh wp site
  2. Install wp-papi
  3. Create a page type with a link field
  4. Create a new post/page and with gutenberg enabled and try to select a link

What versions of softwares are you using?

  • Browser:Firefox
  • Papi: 3.2.0
  • WordPress: Latest

Additional context

Might be a really easy fix for this but I post the issue here just incase you might have a quick solution for it

Thanks for your issue. Papi hasn't support for Gutenberg yet and right now I can't focus on Papi since I'm changing job and going on vacation.

Let's leave the issue open for the feature.
