Is this waiting on anything for a kinetic release? I've been using it stably in my kinetic workspace for a while.

There is no kinetic branch or release, but the indigo-devel branch is still stable in kinetic.

@mikeferguson tried 3 months ago, but it failed to build due to indigo dependencies and @tfoote reverted it.
Not idea what failed exactly, but given it runs without problems in kinetic, maybe we should try again.

Has now been released into Kinetic, should be available shortly: ros/rosdistro#17336
