Original report by alan piszcz (Bitbucket: apiszcz, GitHub: apiszcz).

I am using '+' on two images similar to addThem example, the output result is inverted on the Y axis. I perform the same merge with ArcMap the image is not inverted.

What is the best method to np.flipud or equivalent?
Thank you.

Hi Alan,

it should not be necessary to flip anything. If you are finding that it is required, then you have something wrong. I am not sure what, I have never had this behaviour, but I recommend that you check the projection and transformation information of the input files.
