Error while apply plugin version 0.5.0 #12
Comments
Hi! This might be a Gradle caching issue. Try clean build: delete the |
Unfortunately it doesn't help. |
What version of Gradle and Kotlin do you have? |
kotlin 1.9.10 I also tried to set 0.5.0 version in demo project https://github.com/touchlab/SKIEDemoSample, but got error during gradle sync:
|
I was able to reproduce the issue. I'll let you know once we have a solution. |
@shlauzer Hi! Could you please try it again with the same version (0.5.0)? I think the issue was caused by caching in the Gradle Plugin portal (I no longer get the error in SKIEDemoSample). |
Unfortunately the error is reproducing now. |
@shlauzer could you share your |
We use our proxy repositories in settings.gradle.kts and I can't share them. But SKIEDemoSample doesn't work as well. |
Did you do any changes to the SKIEDemoSample? Or just cloned it and it doesn't work? |
Did you by any chance add the proxy repositories you mention to the SKIEDemoSample too? |
Would it be possible to share it if you replaced the proxy repository URLs with blank strings? |
That's so weird. Could you share where in the world you are located? I'll try to VPN there and try again if it reproduces in the demo sample. |
I am from Novosibirsk, Russia. |
But that's so weird, because 0.4.19 works fine. |
Could you try if the same's happening if you try running |
Ok, I'll try later. |
@TadeasKriz I have the same problem here, even when running through terminal (can't even run |
@shlauzer @GabriellCosta Hi there, could you try the new branch on demo? It has been checked and runs successfully after updating to SKIE version 0.5.0 . |
@GabriellCosta Where in the world are you located? We're trying to figure out what's happening. So far it really seems like a caching issue with JCenter. |
@shlauzer The demo project uses Gradle 7.6 . Maybe it's not working well for you because you're on Gradle 8.3? |
@ykws We're using 8.3 in some of our projects where it works, it shouldn't be a problem. |
@TadeasKriz I'm in Portugal @ykws The demo worked just fine until I changed the gradlew wrapper to 8.0 |
@GabriellCosta Could you try opening this url in your browser? https://plugins.gradle.org/m2/co/touchlab/skie/gradle-plugin-api/0.5.0/gradle-plugin-api-0.5.0.module |
@TadeasKriz I received a 403 |
@GabriellCosta And what happens when you run this in your terminal: |
@GabriellCosta Could you run the failing |
@TadeasKriz the curl is described correctly also now I can download the .module :O |
Try running the Gradle |
@TadeasKriz same problem but as before, If I downgrade my wrapper to 7.x it works, the problem is only in 8.x |
Could you run the failing |
Or even better, if you could run it with |
@TadeasKriz I did |
Yes please, as long as it's the first one that succeeded. |
The first one that succeeds @TadeasKriz
|
Versions >= 0.5.5 work fine now. Thank's for investigations. |
We got such error while apply plugin version 0.5.0 (0.4.19 works fine).
Our build.gradle in shared module looks like this:
