amazing work here thomas.
adding to the list and possibly easier than what you suggested, would be the ability to filter the topics in the same way mqtt subscribe's "#" and "+" operators work.

ex:
house/+/lamp/

would show:
house/bedroom/lamp/
house/kitchen/lamp/

and
house/#/lamp/

would show:
house/floor1/kitchen/lamp/
house/floor2/lamp/
