i testet the appimage linux version of that in a VM on ESXI. having exactly the same issue. once messages arrive the UI runs maybe at 1-2FPS, making it very unresponsive and almost unuseable. there is no visible higher cpu load |

Hi,
I like this useful tool very much in conjunction with Home Assistant on a RP4i 8Gb with Node-Red, Zigbee2MQTT and Mosquito MQTT broker add-ons as a setup.
I run the application on my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), 24GB Ram with macOS Montery version 12.0.1.
My mac and RPi4 are connected by wire (1Gb ethernet) and there is no communications bottleneck or issues on the line.
I experience slow performance of the GUI, what seems to be caused by the fetch of the MQTT data and the processing of it.
When I click an item in the GUI which I want to select to explore or alter, the next fetch/update makes the list jump a few lines and all of a sudden another line and thus item is selected. The consequence is then that you make analysis on a different item. This makes it hard to use the tool flawless, and it makes that you have to select an item way more consciousness or making mistakes without noticing it on time.
Is this addressed in version 4.0? Would you like me to test that? Where can I grab the Beta?
Let me know how I can help you fix this issue.
Regards,
Martin
