@thomasnordquist have you considered adding an automated or scripted publish response feature? Something like:

Select a "subscribe" topic
Define a payload to publish in response

When a message arrives on the selected topic, then a pre-defined payload is published automatically in response.

This would be a great addition to this already awesome tool for testing MQTT applications!
