Plotting temperature versus miles for some drives

I have a somewhat ambitious question: For all drives from my work place to home (happens a few times a week) I would like to plot temperature versus miles on that drive. Or even better, temperature versus distance to destination (=home) in miles.

I know this is ambitious but generally the data should exist in the database.

Is something like this possible?

Background for my question is that I live in a region with severe micro climates and temperatures can drop by 10F within just a few miles. I'd like to plot temperature drop in the vicinity of my home over the year.
