Annoying notification noise when opening app #21631

When launching the status app on android (latest version from play store at time of writing, grapheneos, defaults), before the fingerprint authentication appears, the app makes an annoying notification sound - this makes the app practically unusable both as a messenger and wallet because it draws attention to everyone around that it's being opened - ie in a meeting or any other situation where the attention is not desired and not useful.

The same thing happens when the app is in the foreground, on screen unlock. Notably, this is not the message notification,, just a pointless source of noise.

@arnetheduck
It tried to reproduce this issue with Graphene OS (Google Pixel 7A) and I couldn't. I tried with enabled Push notification service and disabled.
May I ask you to try to switch on-off Settings > Notifications > Local notifications and tell if that helps to workaround issue, thank you!

Doesn't help - I don't think it's a message notification sound - it happens before login for example, or when unlocking the screen and the application is shown (if it's the top-most application when locking)
