Note history is now kept forever (100 years) with no ability to delete old versions. Although a default of a year seems like a better choice, there should at least be the ability to manually limit/delete note history on the client side. Minimalist philosophy aside, at minimum, there should be a setting to change this behavior server side in the .env file.
Right now the below already exists in the .env file, and if notes are kept for 100 years (but not longer), the ability to purge notes of a certain age is already built in.

Just to confirm you want to be able to auto-delete history past a certain time range, like 1 year? We don't delete revisions just yet as we want to keep this option until we figure out exactly how we want to handle it.
To clarify, am advocating for the option to limit and delete revision history. 1 year of revision history would be fine. Keeping everything forever, without the option to delete, does not seem like a good privacy conscious decision.
