Will there be an analysis of the "best" entries?

Probably, yes. I don't know how to do that yet, but maybe it'll be a mix of community recommendations and hand-picked curation.

It might also be possible to use selenium to test the entries, to verify that they all work according to the spec.

Both Saucelabs and Browserstack offer free instances for open source projects (Saucelabs offers 5 concurrent instances).

@saulshanabrook do you volunteer to write the selenium tests?

Also, won't it be possible to push all entries to this repo's gh-pages? That way, we can see them all in action as well.

@staltz not at the moment, no.

I think that testing the functionality of completed entries with an automated browser test should really only be a "buy in".

Arguably, the more interesting metrics would be subjective:

  • How "easy" it is for developers to supplement an existing solution with new requirements. For example, if the order of the Sith list changed; or Obi Wan wants to support more rows or other types of information; or if a parameter should be made configurable through the UI.
  • How "quickly" can a developer new to the project get up to speed with the framework and make productive changes.
